He was injured, infected and could not hold his stool or urine. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He underwent surgery: the tendon was sutured with a special technique and a screw was placed to immobilize the tarsus and allow healing. From there began a <strong>long and delicate recovery process<\/strong>, with multiple revisions, rehabilitation and complementary treatments.<br\/>During the following months, <strong>Achilles progressively improved<\/strong>, began to support the limb and, although his neurological injury caused incontinence problems, he remained stable and with a noble and strong attitude. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the summer of 2025 he was <strong>provisionally discharged<\/strong>, and shortly after, in September, we were able to give the best news: <strong>Achilles received the definitive medical discharge<\/strong> \ud83d\ude4c. He has successfully passed every stage of his recovery and today he is <strong>in perfect condition<\/strong>, ready to start a new life. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aquiles is a <strong>brave, strong and very noble<\/strong> dog. Thanks to the support of his godparents, he has been able to receive all the veterinary care and affection he needed to get this far.
