We feared the worst and our suspicions have been confirmed. Our mother Risa and her entire litter have tested positive for canine coronavirus (not human coronavirus). They were born on the street and the first days were exposed to various dangers. After several days observing some vomiting and diarrhea, our veterinarians did the necessary tests, and all have tested positive for the disease. They have been transferred to our isolated hospital for infectious diseases, and are already being treated. This little girl has had the worst of it … She was very dehydrated and is hospitalized with serum and with constant surveillance.
