They came straight to the foundation to ask us for help, and once again we couldn’t say no…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gaviota had an owner, and from what her former owner told us, it seems that “he found her like that from one day to another”…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Far from caring for her, his intention was to euthanize her, but some girls intervened to help her and find another end for her and that’s how she has arrived to us today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gaviota’s hind legs are unresponsive, and her front legs and neck are semi-stiff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first tests we have ruled out some infectious diseases and the x-rays do not show any obvious fracture, but we do not rule out any possible trauma (which to the naked eye goes unnoticed) or even a neurological problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The thing is that Gaviota is in a lot of pain and today it has been impossible for our neurologist to see her, so tomorrow we will take her for a magnetic resonance….<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We haven’t reached our fundraising target yet, but yesterday we couldn’t refuse to help Triana, and today it’s the same for Gaviota, who also needs an MRI scan, which is the most expensive test of all and costs around 1000\u20ac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We really can’t say no anymore<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But sometimes it is impossible to say no…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
