Violeta is an elderly bodeguero who has just arrived at FBM and that we have tried to rescue on many occasions but with very little result. Finally Violeta has been run over and that is why she is in FBM. She has a fracture of the humerus near the elbow that we must operate on. We are analyzing how to immobilize the area because the proximity to the elbow joint makes intervention difficult. Many of the dogs that make it to FBM have been run over and need surgery.
