We introduced you to Sintra some time ago upon her arrival at FBM but a few days ago we noticed that something was wrong: her gaze was very sad, she had no appetite and she began to lose weight. Our veterinarians sent a blood sample to the laboratory that triggered all the alarms, their non-existent defenses, no platelets, etc. Finally, an antibody test has tested positive for leishmaniasis, which we have already started to treat with glucantime and allopurinol. We hope that our beloved Sintra will recover soon because she is a dog that won our hearts as soon as she arrived at FBM. We will keep updating her status. Thank you!
