Lunera is 5 years old female dog and came to FBM a year and a half ago, she is a wonderful dog, happy and always with the intention of receiving affection. Lunera knows how to earn the affection of our colleagues and since her arrival we have fallen in love with her but being positive for leishmaniasis deprives her from getting a family that sees beyond her illness. Positive dogs in Leishmania have a normal life as long as they take the medicine prescribed by their vet daily. The disease should not be a barrier to adopting an animal.
