We continue working to recover Budy, a 7-year-old bodeguero suffering from leishmaniasis. As we announced then, Budy arrived at FBM on June 12 in a very poor state of health and turned out to be positive in the leishmania test. Since then, we started with the basic treatment for leishmania and very slowly we have seen an improvement, even though its condition is serious. It is important in the first place to prevent your dog from becoming infected by taking the necessary prophylactic measures: pipettes and antiparasitic collars and to pass regular check-ups for early detection.
