His eyes reflected it. He had been close to die. Pipo fell into a canal and in his attempt to cling to life he tried to climb the canal without success. At night, alone, defenseless and scared, Pipo would not stop crying and his cries were key for Julia and Miguel who did not stop looking for him until they found him and rescued him. His nails are slightly worn from the attempt to climb to safety … His ending would have been very different if no one had listened … Dear Pipo, you are safe now. Welcome to life, to
