Alfred, our “grumpy grandpa,” is actually a very fun and affectionate dog, but the shelter environment doesn’t suit him well. Here at the shelter, he
February is synonymous with abandonment.
It is synonymous with uncertainty and fear.
Synonymous with darkness, and that is why February is black.
In February, the hunting season ends and thousands of greyhounds are massively abandoned.
In February, 99 dogs have arrived at our centre. And no more have arrived because we are overwhelmed, exceeding again the 600 animals in the centre…
That’s why it is also said that February is black.
But it’s over now,
Goodbye February.
