For several years now, the media has been reporting that 50,000 galgos are abandoned in Spain every year

But is this figure true and why is the problem so great in this country?

Our friend Maciek, who always deals with issues of social interest on his broadcasting channel, came a few months ago to document what is happening in the world of the galgo in Spain. A complete vision that goes from the evolution and tradition from an anthropological point of view, interview with Amador Rodriguez, member of the Spanish Greyhound Federation, and visit to our Foundation where he has known first hand the problem of the massive abandonment that arises from this practice.
