Selba arrived at our centre a few weeks ago and we immediately looked for a foster home for her. Adela, adopter and foster home of ours, offered to take her in, but nobody expected that Selba was going to be part of the family in a different way? And it turns out that Maria Isabel, Adela’s mum met Selba and it seems that a strong connection arose between them. And although it wasn’t in their plans to adopt, as Maria Isabel told us, it seems that Selba adopted them!!!
So finally, Selba stays “at home”. On Thursday they formalized the adoption and since then, Selba is the new member of the family. An unexpected ending, but a happy one all the same!
