Robine’s story is a bit unusual compared to what we are used to seeing at the foundation. Robine arrived with one of his hind legs totally atrophied, but what was our surprise when we saw that he had undergone trauma surgery. I had a plate and several screws implanted, but none of them were doing their job, the result had been a disaster. The disaster was so great that the injuries he had suffered were totally irreversible and we could only amputate his paw to end his pain and finally start a new life.
Robine is now fully recovered, but he is still living in our hospital because he is a very spoiled boy. He is very affectionate and lives with other dogs without any problem. Although he is missing a paw he lives a totally normal life and can fit in with any family, he really is a sweetheart!
