After Christmas and the strong gusts of wind we had, it was time to take stock of the damage caused by the storm. The most urgent thing was undoubtedly to clean up all the trees and branches that had been half uprooted and which, even when still standing, were still a real danger for our animals and for the workers themselves. However, it was impossible for us to afford the cost of cleaning up the entire foundation…. But thanks to the solidarity of our friend Katharina we were able to do it. As soon as she heard about our situation, she immediately offered to donate the necessary money!

A great volunteer, but an even better person.
