Many of you will remember the sad story we recently told you about the podenco Marley.

Many of you shared his story and thanks to that, we have found a family for him .

However, we were surprised by the number of people who, even knowing that it was a difficult case, wanted to give him a chance, and that has motivated us to do the same with his companion Florencio.

Florencio is his partner, his friend, and he shares with Marley the same fear of people.

He came from a confiscation and we know that in his past he was a mistreated dog and that he didn’t have it easy. And to make matters worse, he had the misfortune of being attacked by other dogs shortly after arriving at our centre. All this made Florencio withdraw even more into himself, until he reached the same point as his companion Marley.

They spend the day in the inner area of the cage. Hiding and trying to go unnoticed. Watching the days go by and thinking that maybe this life is the best they could hope for….

But we know that there is a better life for him. If Marley made it, why shouldn’t he?

He deserves to know the gentle side of life and a helping hand.

To know love, good food and a soft bed.

The caresses.

A life without stress.

And to forget fear.

We need the widest possible diffusion for him.
