💛 A whirlwind of life struggling to regain its duckling.

Amir arrived at the Foundation when he was just a puppy, with an old fracture in his right front paw that prevented him from supporting it. Despite the pain, his joy and energy were unstoppable: from the very first day he won everyone over with his friendliness.

Upon arrival, he underwent emergency surgery. An arthrodesis was performed to try to save the limb and give him the opportunity to walk again without pain. Thanks to that intervention, the constant care of our team and the support of his sponsors, Amir has evolved wonderfully: he is already supporting his paw, he has overcome the antibiotherapy and his x-rays show a very positive recovery. 💪✨

Although there is still some way to go – including future surgery to remove the plate – Amir has not lost his lively spirit for a second. He is playful, sociable and always ready to spread affection. Taking pictures of him sitting still is almost mission impossible, because he just wants to run around and enjoy life! 🐶💨
