Anubis arrived at the Foundation in one of the toughest states we have ever seen: dehydrated, terrified, with a blank stare and a very serious fracture in his right rear knee. He was extremely thin, broken on the outside and also on the inside.
His story touched us from the first moment, and we knew we could not fail him.
He underwent emergency surgery and has since made an exemplary recovery. The X-rays show a very positive evolution, he is already supporting his paw normally and does not need medication. 💪✨
But the most beautiful thing is not only his physical recovery, but how his character has blossomed: Anubis is affectionate, sweet, playful and has one of the most beautiful and expressive looks we have seen. 🧡
Today Anubis is reserved and will soon know the warmth of a forever home. But until then, he still needs support to cover the costs of his life-saving surgery, check-ups and specialized veterinary care.
