Belon

💛 An older greyhound looking for tranquility, care… and love.

Belon arrived at the Foundation on July 28, 2025, found wandering near our facilities after being abandoned. His body told a story of suffering: an old fracture in his right hind leg, pellets scattered all over his body and a positive diagnosis for Leishmania.
Fortunately, he arrived in time. For the first time in a long time, Belon could rest in a safe place. 🌿🐾

His health condition required complete medical attention. Studies also revealed a large intra-abdominal testicular neoplasm, non-regenerative anemia and immune-mediated polyarthritis secondary to Leishmania. Since then, Belón has been receiving specific treatment for the disease, periodic analyses, immunomodulatory medication and intensive veterinary control, always seeking the best possible quality of life for him.

Despite everything he has been through, Belon is calm and noble, and greatly enjoys the security and comfort he now has.
