Our little girl is feeling better and more cheerful, however, the state of her hind legs is not improving and she still has no feeling… We, in a desperate attempt to find a diagnosis, we have tested her again for the diseases that we had previously done on her arrival and to our surprise, she has tested positive for leishmania, so there are new possible diagnoses that may have to do with the disease.
Today she has also received a visit from our physiotherapist who has re-evaluated her, and she has done some rehabilitation exercises with the help of the veterinary team. We are also waiting for a new assessment with our neurologist and we do not rule out having to do more tests again?
In any case, our goal is his wellbeing, and we will not stop until we get it…
