Our little boy went back for a second MRI last Monday and far from clearing up any doubts, the results were surprising: the mass (possible tumour) that was observed in the first MRI has disappeared and only some suspicious remains of the possible tumour remain. This is undoubtedly good news, but as we mentioned, Josan has not improved and continues to have pain, so the conclusion is that the pain has already become chronic and we must gradually withdraw the current medication to start a new treatment for neuropathic pain. It’s not good news, but at least it’s not bad news either. We’d rather keep that….
We still have a large part of his medical tests to pay for, as the MRI is the most expensive test in veterinary medicine and with this one, he has already needed two MRIs.
