We don’t know what Matute went through in his past, but his scars suggest that he was a victim of abuse in the past, so we come to understand the fear with which he arrived… He distrusts people he doesn’t know and tries to avoid eye contact and physical contact when interacting with people, but even so Matute has improved a lot in the last months and is more confident in the presence of people.

He is compatible with other dogs, and most likely out of the shelter, and all the stress that surrounds him, Matute will finally be able to relax and show his true character. It will take time and effort, but there is nothing more rewarding than helping and reintegrating these dogs back into a normal life.
