We start the week with Tiza, a dog whose state of health is compromised by the co-infections that we have found. In tests for diseases she has tested positive for: ehrlichia, anaplasma and leishmania. We still do not know how advanced the leishmania infection is, but it does not present skin lesions so it could be an early infection. We begin treatment for the infections and to try to lower the fever that has occurred since her arrival. Tiza is a beautiful and super affectionate dog that we hope will recover soon and we can find a family that will open the doors of their home for her. Can you help us with Tiza?
