Nuestra pequeña pierde su ojito…

Amparo llegó hace algo más de tres meses a nuestro centro tras sufrir un atropello. Tenía fractura múltiple de cadera de la que ya ha sido operada, y además vimos que tenía un ojito en mal estado. Al principio creímos que era fruto del traumático accidente que sufrió, pero más tarde, las pruebas confirmaron que tenía cataratas, subluxación del cristalino y retina atrofiada, lesiones que son congénitas (no traumáticas) y que además tenían muchas posibilidades de desarrollar complicaciones en el futuro…Todo ello ha llevado a nuestro equipo veterinario a tomar la determinación de enuclearlo, y hace tan solo unos días fue sometida a cirugía. Todo salió bien, y ella esta bastante animada y muy contenta.

Ahora solo queda encontrar una familia para ella que le dé todo el amor y cuidados que merece y necesita…

🇬🇧 Our sweet girl loses her little eye…

Amparo arrived at our centre just over three months ago after being run over. She had a multiple hip fracture for which she has already undergone surgery, and we also noticed that she had an eye in very bad condition. At first we thought it was the result of the traumatic accident she suffered, but later, tests confirmed that she had cataracts, subluxation of the crystalline lens and atrophied retina, injuries that are congenital (not traumatic) and that also had many possibilities of developing complications in the future… All this has led our veterinary team to take the determination to enucleate it, and just a few days ago she underwent surgery. Everything went well, and she is very happy and cheerful.

Now it only remains to find a family for her to give her all the love and care she deserves and needs….
