27 GALGOS IN 3 DAYS …

Since the beginning of the hunting season we have observed how the number of galgos that begin to arrive at our center increases considerably. Just this week, count from Monday until yesterday, we have counted 27 galgos. Just a month ago, the figure dropped to an average of 2 or 3 dogs a day. Today, we are already talking about almost triple … This is the reality behind the hunt. Thousands and thousands of galgos discarded every year. The luckiest ones will finish us off; the less fortunate will end up in wells, hanged, or abandoned in fields and roads …

Our hardest time begins: greater effort, rescues, surgeries, hours and hours of work …

Operating room prepared. Prepared cages. Prepared mind.
