AND THE DOG OF THE WEEK IS …
AZUL
He is 3 years old and meets all the requirements to be our dog of the week. He is a bit shy, but very sociable and good to rage. He is a calm dog and spends long hours sleeping. He gets along well with other dogs, and if there are conflicts he avoids them. He arrived months ago with a fracture in his paw from which he is fully recovered. It is negative for diseases, but it does seem to have a serious one in the eyes of many: color. Its black fur conditions it, like that of hundreds of black greyhounds that fill our cages. Until when will it stop being like that? Azul is one of the most special greyhounds we have. If the main and most important characteristic to adopt a dog is based on his color, then you will be overlooking the most important of all …
Azul deserves to be happy as much as a greyhound of a different color from his.
The little prince already said it: “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eyes …”
