AND THE WINNER IS…

The adjective “spectacular” falls short to define the work of our dear friend Travis Patenaude. And it is so spectacular that this year he has won the PRIZE FOR THE BEST ACTION PHOTOGRAPH of the International Pet Photographer of the year 2021 awards. The winning photo is the first one we publish. Look at it, and tell us whether or not it is true that we fell short of our definition …

Best of all, is the story behind the camera of Travis: He tells that in 2012 he and his wife Amanda were rescued by Leena, a beautiful and scary white greyhound, who inspired them not only to create the adoption organization in the USA Love, Hope, Believe Greyhound Adoption Inc., but it was also the necessary push for Travis to perfect his skills with the camera and with his work to give back everything that the greyhounds have given him during these years. Travis and Amanda now have 6 adopted greyhounds, and our friend travels every year to Spain to FBM and other shelters to help as many greyhounds as possible with his wonderful photography.
It has always been said that an image is worth more than a thousand words …
