Feliz is a human-fearing dog and at FBM we knew she needed time and space to earn her trust. Sometimes we think that we should pet and quickly approach a battered dog, but it is not the best option. Feliz only approached our colleague when she felt confident enough to offer him her paw. This video is just an example of the obstacles we face every day at FBM. We hope that time will also help people to understand that we share the planet with other animals and that we must respect them and live with them without mistreating them.
