Matilda Update

We are worried about our little one… She has been very apathetic after her surgery, and it seems that she has no sensitivity in the external part of one of her paws… Our physiotherapist has been with her today and everything seems to indicate that she has affected the sciatic nerve by a compartment syndrome (serious and painful condition that involves increased pressure in a muscle compartment, and can lead to damage to nerves and muscles).

For the time being, we can only wait and see how it evolves. He may recover his sensibility, or he may have the nerve affected and definitively lose his sensibility and as a consequence lose his paw…. We have all our hopes that she will recover, mainly for her sake, because that’s how we want to see her, and secondly because we don’t know how we could face another operation… (Remember that depending on the evolution she may also need the operation for the hip fracture she hasn’t been submitted to yet).

This never ends.

And we can’t take it anymore…

Help us to continue saving lives 🙏🏼
