The smiles on our faces to know that although they end a stage with us, they undoubtedly begin the best stage of their lives, adopted and happy.
However, the farewell leaves us with a bittersweet feeling, because even knowing the happiness that awaits them, it is not easy to say goodbye after months with them day after day …
This is the case of our sweet Melocoton: He arrived with a fracture in his spine and after a complicated surgery and months of tests, they finally confirmed that Melocoton would not walk again … And the signs of affection and support for him arrived. They gave him a super wheelchair with which he has run around and rolled everything in his path, some people sent him huge beds, coats, sweets, toys … And we gave him the best of us: The necessary care and immense love
He always barked at someone he did not know and raised his huge ears to gossip every time he heard a noise. He ate and destroyed any box, paper or bandage he found, but even so, he aroused in us an unforgettable tenderness. Like all the moments we have lived with him …
Now our hospital looks strange without those wheels with which he ran over everyone, without his barking and without his big ears.
We have already received pictures of Melocoton in his new home, and we are enormously happy for him, but you can’t imagine how much it hurt to see him leave …
To his new family and the rest, we ask you please take care of them, because part of our lives and our hearts go with all of them …
I hope you are as happy as you deserve !!
