Candy has arrived this very morning. Her previous family began to observe that his abdomen was increasingly swollen. They took her to the vet, but they couldn’t bear the cost of all the necessary tests, and that’s how she came to us.

What we can tell you is that our vets have been with her today doing more tests. Candy has ascites, although we haven’t been able to find the cause yet, so next week we’ll take her to a specialist. Everything points to it being a liver or heart problem…
During the ultrasound and the drainage she had some discomfort, but our vets were there to give her lots of extra pampering as compensation.
