Goodnight!
Yesterday we performed a blood transfusion on our beloved Sintra to reverse the anemia she suffered from. This morning her blood levels seem to be showing a slight improvement but we are concerned that her bone marrow is not responding by producing red blood cells on its own, it could be that leishmaniasis is affecting her marrow. Sintra looks a little tired and apathetic but she eats and drinks normally, for now we will continue to carry out blood tests to see her evolution and we hope that she can overcome the consequences of her leishmaniasis once and for all.
