FREYA

La hemos llamado Freya, y llegó hace pocos días tras ser rescatada de las calles con una pata rota. Las radiografías confirmaron que tenia una fractura de cubito y radio, y rápidamente contactamos con nuestro traumatólogo que nos dio luz verde para operarla en el mismo día que llegó.
Ahora Freya se recupera en nuestro hospital no solo de su patita, sino también de los traumas que esta vida en la calle le ha dejado…Aun es pronto para saber si con el reposo estricto podrá recuperarse, o si quizás necesitara terapia de rehabilitación, lo que aumentara considerablemente su tratamiento.

We named her Freya, and she arrived a few days ago after being rescued from the streets with a broken paw. X-rays confirmed that she had a fractured ulna and radius, and we quickly contacted our traumatologist who gave us the green light to operate on her the same day she arrived.
Now Freya is recovering in our hospital not only from her paw, but also from the traumas that this life on the street has left her with… It is still too early to tell if with strict rest she will be able to recover, or if she might need rehabilitation therapy, which will considerably increase her treatment.
