Paolo fue tomado por FBM desde la Perrera Badajoz – ¿Qué debe haber pasado a este hermoso joven para tener este pronunciado pánico por la gente? Todo su cuerpo tiembla tan pronto como la gente se acerca demasiado a él. Al principio, solo quieres darle un abrazo y decirle: «Todo estará bien ahora». Pero este abrazo tendrá que esperar, porque lo primero que se puede hacer con los perros temerosos es generar confianza con rituales constantes y recurrentes. Simplemente estar allí y mediar en la tranquilidad, porque Paolo no tiene eso en este momento. Este perro especial necesita ser capaz de reducir su distancia de las personas por iniciativa propia sin ejercer ninguna presión, pero al mismo tiempo necesita ser capaz de regresar a una zona segura si se siente abrumado. Sus amigos perros apoyan al niño y le dan estabilidad, Paolo no tiene ningún problema con ellos.
El gran vestíbulo de FBM es terriblemente ruidoso y estresante, las peores condiciones posibles para un perro como él. Nunca puede desconectar, relajarse, llegar. Estamos buscando personas para Paolo que sepan lo que significa llevar a un perro tan temeroso a su hogar y a su manada, qué condiciones deben ser y por qué pasas con el animal a diario. ¿Seremos tan afortunados con Paolo y encontraremos a las personas adecuadas?

Paolo was taken over by FBM from the Perrera Badajoz – What must have happened to this beautiful young boy to have this pronounced panic about people? His whole body trembles as soon as people get too close to him. At first you just want to give him a hug and say “everything will be all right now”. But this hug will have to wait, because the first thing to do with fearful dogs is to build trust with consistent, recurring rituals. Simply being there and mediating tranquillity, because Paolo doesn’t have that at the moment. This special dog needs to be able to reduce his distance from people on his own initiative without any pressure being exerted, but at the same time he needs to be able to return to a safe zone if he feels overwhelmed. His dog friends support the boy and give him stability, Paolo is completely unproblematic with them.

The large hall at FBM is terribly loud and stressful, the worst possible conditions for a dog like him. He can never switch off, relax, arrive. We are looking for people for Paolo who know what it means to take such a fearful dog into their home and their pack, what conditions must be met and what you go through with the animal on a daily basis. Will we be so lucky with Paolo and find the right people?
