LA DIRECCION GENERAL DE DERECHOS DE LOS ANIMALES, VISITA LA FBM

Ayer, recibimos una visita muy especial. Sergio Garcia Torres, director de la Dirección General de Derechos de los Animales vino a conocernos y a conocer nuestra labor. Una visita imprescindible y más que necesaria para conocer en primera persona, la problemática real que existe con los perros de caza. La futura Ley de bienestar animal, se ha visto envuelta en una serie de polémicas, ya que el Ministerio de agricultura y pesca, mostró su oposición a incluir a los perros de caza dentro de esta nueva Ley. Esto, es algo por lo que, tanto Sergio Garcia Torres, como el resto de su equipo están luchando, evitar hacer distinción alguna entre cualquier perro, sea cual sea la finalidad para la que estén siendo utilizados. Esto, garantiza de derechos y protección a nuestros perros, por lo que no podemos estar más que agradecidos, por su involucración, y por seguir adelante a pesar de las continuos impedimientos a los que se están enfrentando continuamente.

THE GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF ANIMAL RIGHTS VISITS THE FBM

Yesterday, we received a very special visitor. Sergio Garcia Torres, director of the General Directorate for Animal Rights, came to meet us and learn about our work. An essential visit and more than necessary to know in first person, the real problems that exist with hunting dogs. The future Animal Welfare Law has been involved in a series of controversies, since the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries showed its opposition to including hunting dogs within this new Law. This is something that, Both Sergio Garcia Torres and the rest of his team are struggling to avoid making any distinction between any dog, whatever the purpose for which they are being used. This guarantees rights and protection to our dogs, for which we cannot be more than grateful for their involvement, and for moving forward despite the continuous obstacles they are continually facing.
